The MG Co. M3LLC-S4-R4/A is an advanced, high-precision strain gauge transmitter. It safely bridges load cells, pressure transducers, and hopper weighing networks with your central data systems. This space-saving M3-UNIT Series module handles a dedicated 0.0–30.0 mV/V input signal. Consequently, it is natively compatible with bridge-type strain gauges of various resistances and output ratings. Furthermore, it converts raw load metrics into a stable, field-selectable 0–20 mA DC, -2.5 to +2.5 VDC, or -10 to +10 VDC output loop to guarantee flawless analog feedback to your telemetry setups.
This versatile module supports dual in-field setup methods to simplify industrial spare parts reduction programs:
- First, you can use an intuitive DIP Switch Configuration Mode. This layout utilizes front control buttons with visual LED diagnostic feedback for a seamless “One-Step Cal” sequence directly on the factory floor.
- Alternatively, you can choose an advanced PC Configuration Mode. This setup utilizes the free downloadable M3CFG Configurator Software for trend monitoring and loop status viewing.
Additionally, the unit operates reliably via a 10–32 VDC power input rating. It features an ultra-thin 18 mm (0.71″) profile housing designed for zero-clearance, high-density DIN rail mounting. Thanks to its heavy-duty 1500 VAC dielectric isolation strength and certified compliance, this module safeguards your control architectures against aggressive ground loops and high-frequency electrical noise.
