RTA

RTA, the second largest stepping drive manufacturer in Europe, offers a wide range of Bipolar Chopping Drives in both AC and DC ranges. RTA also has Indexing Programmable Stepper controllers for Daisy Chaining and MultiAxis Applications. The newly introduced X-Mind Series Driver has been in use in many countries including the US working on very critical applications primarily in the packaging/printing and Labeling industries.

RTA is a leading European manufacturer of bipolar chopper stepper motor drives for two phase hybrid 200 step/rev motors. Drives range from 0.75 Amp @ 24V upto 14 Amps @ 240V and are available in several mounting versions such as Eurorack (illustrated), OEM and panel mounting. The drives are available in resolutions from the standard 200 step/rev (full) to 400 step/rev (half), 800 step/rev (quarter) and 4000 (ministep). They are designed for high reliability motion control in industrial environments and are backed by over 20 years experience in stepper motor drive design.

The drives are easily controlled by step and direction inputs from a computer or programmable logic controller. Applications include laboratory instrumentation, back stop positioning, CNC retrofitting, labelling machines, packaging machines, XY tables, pick & place and testing machines.

Our E.M.C statement applies to the installation of these products. At the time of web site publication, all RTA drives except the BCW02 and SD stepper motors claim European CE and Australian C-tick conformity. The CE compliance is important for machine manufacturers seeking clients in European countries.

RTA SAC Terminal Board - HGD Adapter

The SDC, HGD and SAC stepper drives use AMP crimp terminal connectors for supply, logic and motor connections. A.M.S. have developed a printed circuit board with mating plugs that plug into the stepper drive and provide screw terminals for the cables. There is also a base plate to simplify mounting in a control cabinet. The HGD terminal board makes cable connection and installation easy.
