MONORAIL AMSA 3B is an integrated measuring system for distance measurement for use on all protected machine tool axes with high demands on system precision. Mechanically the AMSA 3B is based on SCHNEEBERGER’s MR MONORAIL roller guide with lengths up to 6 meters. The integration of the measurement system allows very compact axes to be put together.

The AMSA 3B is the starting point for this product. The profile rails are thus identical and are compatible with both AMSA 3B and AMSD 3B.

With the MONORAIL AMSABS 4B, SCHNEEBERGER provides an integrated measuring system for absolute distance measurement for use in automation engineering, mechanical handling technology and machine tool engineering, whereby high force absorption and precise distance measurements are required in small assembly spaces. AMSA 3L "The product for all lengths" is now made possible by highly accurate machining and measurement of the rails. A special design of the rail ends for butt joints, when used in combination with the AMSA 3L reading head, allows the carriage to run over the butt joint, so that measuring axes of any desired length can be constructed.
